I have my Bachelor's in English from the University of Kansas and I currently live in Kansas City. I am available to tutor students in all subjects related to English, including reading, writing, and grammar. I have strong beliefs in what the definition of a good tutor is. First of all, I believe some essential qualities to have as a tutor include knowledge, leadership, and passion. One thing I strive to do is to provide all of these qualities and more. It is important to pay attention to the individual needs of your pupils. I take the time to get to know each person at a personal level and create custom lesson plans. Additionally, I always try to live my life as a role model to my students. Handling each situation that comes at me in an appropriate manner teaches pupils to adapt and make the right decisions. Leadership skills are another strong attribute to have as a tutor. My students come to me to talk about all kinds of things and I must be able to guide them through it. I am looking forward to meeting new people and being a positive influence in their academic career.
