Writing is a subject I believe everyone can master if given the right tools and guidance along the way. As a writing tutor, I share a passion for writing with my students that's contagious and inspiring. I encourage students to put their thoughts on paper, and then help them format and develop a quality story from their ideas. While Creative Writing can be difficult for some students, Essay Writing is a common subject with which many students struggle. I focus on helping students create an essay by organizing their thoughts into a constructive presentation that outlines and supports their ideas. As students practice writing essays, they gain more confidence in their abilities to properly construct an essay.I attended Southern Utah University, where I earned a bachelor's degree in English in 2013. While attending college, I was given the opportunity to provide tutoring assistance to students in English, Reading, and Writing. I've continued helping students with many subjects, including Essay Writing and Editing, Literature, Study and Organizational Skills, ACT Test Preparation, Creative Writing, Grammar, and Shakespeare.I spend my free time catching up on a good book, practicing my own writing skills, trying out new recipes, learning new craft projects, watching my favorite television shows, and enjoying all the excitement that comes with the holidays.
