After seeing many of my students drastically improve their lives during the course of our sessions, I have realized that enabling students to succeed in areas that previously gave them difficulty is one of the greatest feelings I have ever experienced. I hold a bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri in Spanish. The next step for me is obtaining an ESL certification, and eventually I hope to attain a full teaching license. My specialty is definitely teaching the Spanish language to a wide range of students. It is a subject that has been a huge passion of mine since elementary school, when I first discovered the language. However, that is by no means the only subject I can tutor! I am also more than qualified to teach the concepts of Anatomy, Biology, and Math, and I am also very experienced in helping students study for various standardized tests. In terms of teaching experience, I have tutored many different types of students, including recent immigrants who are studying for their U.S. citizenship tests. Along with academic skills, I can also teach my students the necessary discipline, study habits, and organizational skills that will help them succeed well beyond their school days.
