I have a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Social Studies Education from the University of Missouri, Columbia Cumulative GPA: 3.4 I have a Master's degree in Secondary Education Administration from Pittsburg State University. GPA 4.0 I am also certified as an English as a Second Language teacher. GPA 4.0

Experience

I am a full time high school ELL ( English as a Second Language) teacher at Shawnee Mission North West High School in Shawnee, Kansas. I work with students on all high school subjects particularly English and Biology. I want to be a tutor because I love kids and teaching! My son is in college at KU and my daughter is a senior at Shawnee Mission East so I have extra time on my hands. I can think of no better way to spend this time than helping students become successful and gain confidence in themselves!

Hobbies

My primary focus has been on raising two wonderful children and being the best teacher I can be. In my "free" time I enjoy working out on a daily basis doing Title Boxing, tennis and running. I also love to work in my yard, walk my dog and try new healthy recipes. I enjoy reading and learning always!
