I earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance with highest honors from Missouri State University at Springfield. I began tutoring while I was in college, at the initiative of a professor who endorsed me as a tutor to help other students who were having difficulty with the coursework for Finance classes. After college, I passed the Chartered Financial Analyst exams, which are stringent tests on Accounting, Economics, Corporate Finance, and Investment. After earning the CFA charter, I began teaching courses for the CFA review.My tutoring experience has taught me to find out what the student knows and doesn't know, so that I can associate new material with concepts that are already familiar and thus continue building on the appropriate groundwork. I believe education is essential for achieving our goals in life, and I want it to be a priority for everyone I work with. I strive to share a love of learning. I can tutor elementary and middle school Mathematics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Microeconomics, and Macroeconomics.Besides teaching and finance, I am interested in movies and music. I also enjoy spending time hiking and reading.
