 My bachelor's degree was received from Kansas State University. I majored in secondary education. Afterwards, I decided to go and get a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. Having graduated from those universities, I went on and worked as a teacher for more than a decade and a half. I have a passion for math. I love helping people. I am a self-proclaimed math lover, and my kids and husband always tease me for this. My second favorite subject is Spanish. Some of the things I enjoy doing in my spare time include watching my kids and all of their activities, volunteering around town here in Overland Park, KS, as well as engaging in other cultures. I feel that a worldly person is a more experienced person.
