In spite of this - or perhaps because of my love for language - my personal interests and research cover a broad spectrum, and in the last year alone ranged from Quantum Electrodynamics to the significance of the Golden Ratio in the construction of the Grecian Parthenon. My experience as an independent researcher, a member of the scientific journal club, and my completion of pre-medicine prerequisites, all at the University of Kansas, has also honed my skills further in academic English. In my current teaching position through the Johnson County Adult Education program and as a private tutor, this ability to crosscut and reveal interchange across many topics using my eclectic experience is a distinct advantage. Being a student of the Latin language, as well as recently receiving TEFL certification via the International TEFL Academy, my intuition regarding English grammar and morphology is exceptional.
